Strolling on a pleasant afternoon,
Taking in enchanting views of
The majestic mountain with dense vegetation,
The calm sea stretching beyond sight,
The breath-takingly beautiful gardens
From the elevation I stood
Realization dawns on me
Awestruck I am, by the beauty around
But neither am I wanting
To own the wonderful creations,
Nor am I disgruntled about
Being a mute spectator.
Imbibed within me is the acceptance
That not all great things are meant to be owned
Rather, I look up to the brightness
Shining through the veil of clouds.
Unpretentiously displaying its superior power
And thank it for being high-up there And making me feel privileged
About being chosen for witnessing its bounty
Teaching to cherish the facts of life without ownership
